After seven years of IIDC’s Miniature Masters in the Mart we’ve gone MaD!!!!! that is, Mart Mad: Introducing IIDC’s Mart Madness.

Modeled after the hit TV show “A Minute to Win It” we’ve designed a game that is just as fun and diabolically challenging as designer golf. Participants have 60 seconds to complete quirky but deceptively difficult tasks using household objects. Challenges are hosted by and in showrooms on any of the three contract floors in the Merchandise Mart. Upon successfully completing each showroom’s challenge, participants receive and collect stamp verification for a chance to compete for fabulous prizes ($$$$$) in the Final Countdown.

IIDA Illinois Chapter’s STITCH Event

On Thursday, September 2nd, IIDA’s annual STITCH fashion show was held to benefit IIDC. Thank you to IIDA’s committee members who orchestrated a fabulous event to a sell-out crowd. Due in large part to the sponsors, participants and attendees at the event, IIDA Illinois Chapter contributed $20,000 of the events proceeds to IIDC. THANK YOU EVERYONE!
